 Floods strike Malawi causing extreme damage to properties and leaving the community homeless  Natural disasters are catastrophic event caused by natural processes that have harmful impacts in the society or community, following a natural hazard event such as floods, droughts, earthquakes, tropical cyclones, volcanoes, and also wildfires. Natural disasters can cause loss of life or damage property and typically leaves economic damages to communities.
